Man to appear in court over Chch attack
The man arrested over an attack on an elderly Christchurch couple will face three charges when he appears in the District Court.

The man facing three charges over a serious attack on an elderly Christchurch couple is set to appear in court.
Douglas James Archer, 59, was arrested and charged on Tuesday, and will appear in Christchurch District Court on Wednesday morning.
He is facing two charges of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and one charge of aggravated robbery in relation to the alleged assault.
Archer had been sought by police since Friday, when an 80-year-old man and a 72-year-old woman were seriously injured at a house on St Martins Road.
