Conservative peer Lord Hanningfield responds to reports that he
regularly 'clocked in' to the House of Lords to claim a £300 daily
attendance allowance. Speaking to the media on Tuesday he says he has
broken no rules. The Daily Mirror monitored the peer's movements in July
and found he spent less than 40 minutes in the House of Lords on 11 of
the 19 days he registered attendance
