A woman whose body was recovered from the Norfolk Broads by police divers at the weekend was a "devoted" nurse, her employers at a London hospice said.
A post-mortem examination on Monday revealed Annette Creegan, 49, of Mitcham, south London, is likely to have died as a result of strangulation.
Ms Creegan had worked as a community nurse at Trinity Hospice in Clapham Common for more than 13 years.
A spokeswoman said she was "truly wonderful and well-respected".
'Sorely missed' Ms Creegan's body and that of a man were found in the River Bure, close to where the holiday boat they had hired was discovered. Her 13-year-old daughter was found alive and alone on the boat.
Norfolk police are treating the deaths as a "domestic incident" and no-one else is being sought in connection with the deaths.
Anne Hooper, the hospice's chief executive, said Ms Creegan was "devoted to improving the lives of her patients".
"She has made a difference to so many people and will be sorely missed by all who knew her," she said.
"Everyone at Trinity Hospice is devastated by this tragedy, and our thoughts are with Annette's daughter and her family at this sad time."
Comforted by family The man, who died as a result of drowning, will be named once further formal identification procedures have taken place, police said.
Their bodies were found on Sunday after the woman's daughter was found on Saturday.
The couple were found between Salhouse Broad and Wroxham Broad.
It is thought the man had taken his own life and police said might have also used another method in addition to drowning, such as taking an overdose.
It is understood the girl was cared for and fed throughout last week and it is not thought she was locked inside the boat.
She has been interviewed by officers and is now being comforted by family members.
